Wii suggestions?

Hey guys and gals. I've recently come into a Wii and I'm wondering if anybody is willing to recommend some games. I already have an Xbox so I'm really looking specifically for games that take advantage of the Wii controller. Also, anything that might be fun for little kids is good too. My 4-year old son is already beating me at Wii golf...

Thanks in advance

Discussion Re: Wii suggestions?

Hey Greg, I don't have a Wii myself, however I know Shadowtiger uses his pretty much exclusively for his kids and Spiff to a certain extent too. Wolfkin also has a Wii if memory serves me correctly. Hopefully they can give you some good ideas.

Re: Wii suggestions?

I have a wii. I don't have kids, but I love it. I suggest getting games like Zelda: Twilight Princess, The Metroid Prime Trilogy, and the SUper Mario games. (New Super Mario bros, Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2.) Good games for kids are the Raving Rabids series, by Ubisoft. They range from minigame collections to a cool action game.

I also love the Virtual Console. I know I can download most of the games using emulators on the PC, but I just love playing them on a Nintendo system on a TV.

Also you can use your wii for streaming netflix now, if that is your thing.

I buy gamecube games for it, as well. YOu need a gamecube controller and a gamecube memory card, but I think it is well worth the investment. There are many gamecube games you can find on the cheap now, both going to places like gamestop or looking on line.

Just telling you how I use my wii XD

Re: Wii suggestions?

Appreciate the info! My boy has been pretty happy with just the Wii Sports Resort so far. Oh, and Punch-Out. That's a big one. I'll look into some of the others once he gets worn out on these.
Thanks!
